Read below to find out more about some of the different activities we have been getting up to; from sporting and musical activities, to visitors and 'wow' days. We are looking forward to helping our children 'explore and grow' further in 2023-24.

  • Gold School Games Mark

    Tue 18 Jul 2023 M Davis

We are very pleased to have been awarded the Gold School Games Mark for 2022-23. After many years of attaining the silver award, we are very proud to have met the criteria for the Gold School Games Mark this year - not an easy feat for a small school!

Well done to all the children who have taken part in sporting activities this year, either in school during the school day, or as part of a team at a sporting event. A huge thank you to Mrs Ranson for all of the hard work she puts in behind the scenes to get us organised for these events!

  • Sports Day 2023

    Wed 12 Jul 2023 M Davis

We managed to find a sunny morning, in amongst the peculiar weather we are having at present, for Sports Day 2023!

For the first part of sports day, the children were split into 6 teams; and circulated through a round-robin of activities, including: skipping, football skills, hockey skills, running, throwing and an obstacle course. Points were awarded for showing different skills, as well as for showing sportsmanship.

This was followed by our traditional running races, including a toddler race for the nursery and younger siblings, and then a race for parents.

The winning team this year, was team 2 - but it was a closely fought win, with the second placing team only 5 points behind!

Thank you to all of the parents and family members who came to support, and to all the staff for their hard working in making the event such a success.
