The Vikings are coming!

In preparation for the eagerly awaited Vikings topic, I have put together a knowledge organiser to help you become familiar with some of the vocabulary we will be using.
It's going to be lots of fun - although I have to say, I am glad I am not living in Anglo-Saxon times!
Don't worry, we won't start it until the Year 4's are back from their residential!

I have also uploaded an overview of what we will be learning in terms 5 and 6.

Our main topic for this term is Brazil. We have already begun to explore the physical and human features of Brazil, as well as what types of biomes can be found there. Over the next few weeks, we will be asking and discovering answers to the following questions:

What is life like in different parts of Brazil?
What is the climate like in Brazil?
What is the great tug of war of urbanisation?

What is city life like in Rio?
Who are the Awa tribe?

We will be finishing our topic by making a whole class Favela! Pleas for shoe boxes will appear in a few weeks!
