Police Visit
Fri 17 Oct 2014We were all very excited to be visited today by our local community police office, Steve Houghton, who came to talk to us in our assembly about the role of the police in Rutland.
After some interesting questions from the children we were lucky enough to be able to go and look at Rutland's brand new police car - only two days old! We enjoyed looking at all the equipment in the car, and it was exciting (if noisy!) to hear the sirens and watch the flashing lights!
Thank you for visiting us Steve. See you soon!

FOEGS October Task Force
Sun 05 Oct 2014Members of FOEGS turned out on a wet and cold October Saturday morning to reclaim the nature area so that the children can use it! Three hours later and the area looks stunning. The pond has been found, benches and logs have been relocated to make seating areas, a 'stage' has been created from an old pallet and a bug hotel was created.
FOEGS is about much more than fundraising. The whole school community is grateful to those people who turn out for FOEGS Task Force mornings at weekends and in the holidays to make the school environment more attractive.
Look in the Gallery in the Children's Section to find pictures of the happy (if wet!) crew!
