• Community Lunch

• Tree planting

  KS2 are going to Burghley House on Monday 5th December at 11.15am to plant a tree. They will return by 12.45pm and will also require a packed lunch.

• Brooke Hill Trip

  KS1 going with Brooke Hill to Corby theatre to see Percy the Park Keeper. Depart Exton at 12 noon, returning by 3.45pm - packed lunch required - full school uniform.
  
  KS2 - story telling event at Brooke Hill. Depart Exton 9.30am returning by 11.30am.

• Children in Need

  This was an excellent day and was enjoyed by all participants.
  
  The children prepared and cooked their picnic food in the morning as well as having their face painted. Everyone was dressed in spots which looked great, especially when taking part in the sponsored run/walk. • Travelling with Tuba workshop with Brooke Hill

  Class 3 went to join Brooke Hill last week for a concert and workshop by Travelling with Tuba. After finding out lots about the history of brass instruments, and the different brass instruments that can be found around the world, we joined the year 5/6 children at Brooke Hill in a Salsa workshop. We had the opportunity to play tone chimes, claves, triangles, broom handles (!), agogo bells and maracas to join together in a big salsa piece. A good time was had by all!
