Ofsted and Performance Tables
Our most recent Ofsted was carried out at the end of June 2022. We are delighted that Ofsted continues to find us a 'good' school, and that they particularly noted the following:
'Pupils state their school is ‘amazing’ and they would ‘highly’ recommend it!'
Other key findings included:
- Exton and Greetham CofE Primary School is a warm and friendly school.
- The school motto ‘we are kind, we are honest and we forgive’ is evident in all aspects of school life.
- Leaders are ambitious for all pupils. This school is inclusive. Pupils, including those with SEND receive the support they need to flourish and achieve well.
- Pupils enjoy coming to school, feel safe and are rightly proud of themselves and their school.
- Pupils know that everyone is welcome at this school.
- Pupils are highly respectful of each other and of all adults.
- Pupils are taught well – teachers explain new ideas and concepts clearly due to strong subject knowledge and nurturing relationships.
- Pupils said that their teachers are supportive and encouraging and that they make lessons enjoyable.
- Behaviour is good – no bullying!
- The children are delightful!
- Pupils benefit from a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
School performance tables are published on the DFE website at www.gov.uk/school-performance-tables. Our school's performance table can be found here.
Please note, that as we are a small school our data is not always available as cohort numbers are often 10 or less.
Ofsted Report
The Most Recent Key Stage 2 Results
The government did not publish Key Stage 2 school level data for the 2021-22 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018-19 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance. Key Stage 2 tests were not carried out in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID19 Pandemic. Our Key Stage 2 Results for 2023 (small cohort) and 2019 can be found below.
Please be aware that our cohorts are small and fluctuate from year to year in number, in ability and in level of SEND. Each child in recent years has accounted for between 8% and 100%. Children often join our school during Key Stage 2 with additional needs which can also skew our results. We are proud of all of our children's achievements and they have made good progress from their starting points when they join the school.
