Mental Health Support for Parents and Carers

Their social drop-in sessions and therapeutic activities are free of charge and open to all adults looking to improve their mental health. They are based on Oakham High Street and the service is run by a team of volunteers able to offer peer support. Activities include crafts, gardening, tai chi and meditation.
For immediate, face to face, mental health support for adults please contact the Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafe. The centre is open Thursdays 17:30-20:30 and Sundays 16:00-19:00 at 2A, Oakham High Street. Free transport and telephone support is available as well. The centre is staffed by trained listeners, offering 1:2:1's, drop-in support, signposts and action plan based guidance.
