KS2 RLT Athletics
Fri 12 Jun 2026Key Stage 2 had a fantastic, if slightly damp time a the RLT KS2 Athletics on Wednesday. This annual event takes place at the Corby Athletics stadium, giving the children the opportunity to run on a real track, jump into a real sand pit and to experience field events on an athletics field.
Despite the slightly wet conditions, the children all tried their hardest and should be proud of their achievements. Medals were won and sportsmanship was at the forefront of the day. Staff reported great cheering from the stand to encourage people taking part in events and some great examples of determination. It was also lovely to hear how our older children helped the younger children. What a great team!

Year 5/6 Bikeability
Mon 08 Jun 2026A group of our year 5/6 children are now fully qualified to cycle safely on the roads on Rutland! Following two days of training the children completed their Bikeability course using the playground and the roads in and around Exton. As well as learning hand signals and road positioning, the children were also reminded of the importance of ensuring their bike is road worthy and the importance of wearing a helmet to protect their head in case of accident.
Well done to all those involved and a huge thank you to our instructors!

RLT KS1 Athletics
Mon 08 Jun 2026What a fabulous time the Year 1 and 2 children had at the RLT Athletics on Friday!
This annual event enables the children to experience sporting activities at a proper stadium, allowing them to run on a proper track, jump into a sandpit and throw out into an arena. The children enjoyed their visit to Corby Stadium and were brilliant at supported each other and giving everything a go. It is lovely to be able to bring children together from across the trust to experience sport in a larger venue.
