Understanding the world/ Geography/ Science

In Term 1, we are going to be learning about continents and oceans. Because we are a mixed age group class, the level of knowledge the children are learning are differentiated. EYFS will learn that Earth is made up of water and land. They will be introduced to the continents and will explore the weathers and habitats we may find on the different continents. Year 1 and 2 will learn the names of the continents and how they are different. We will also explore Capitals cities around the World. We will learn the names of the oceans.
