In Term 2 we will be having a focus on the history and geography of Exton, Greetham, Cottesmore, Oakham and the surrounding villages. We will looking at how Exton has chnaged over the years and how the buildings have been repurposed into family homes. In Geography we are going to be leanring about maps and how maps show us where things are.

In English we will be using 'Little Glow' by Katie Sahota. The EYFS children will be looking and focusing on the different celebrations shown within the story whilst the year 1 children are going to be using the story as a stimulus for writing our own set of instructions. 

In Maths EYFS are going to be looking at numbers 5-7 as well as looking at circles and triangles, being able to pair and group items and recognising and continuing repeated patterns.
