Christmas Performances
I say this every year ('oh no you don't....') - our Nativity and Pantomime performances this year were a triumph!
Aqua class shared the nativity story through the eyes of Leo the Star, who was not sure he was important enough to lead the wise men to Bethlehem. There was some amazing singing, and super narration which led us through the story of Christmas and to the birth of Jesus in the stable and the arrival of the shepherds and kings. Leo ended up as a very enthusiastic star!
Cobalt class then did not disappoint with their pantomime - Cinderella. Despite the best efforts of the grumpy lawyer from Disney, who kept banning songs, a good time was had by all. The two ugly sisters were suitably mean to Cinderella, before the fairy godmother, and her trainee fairy godmother came and performed some magic so that Cinderella could meet her prince. All's well that ends well - and Cinderella and the prince were eventually married. There was some super singing, and dazzling dancing, as well as lots of opportunities for audience participation. Well done to everyone involved.
