Year 5/6 children began their Bikeability training this week with level 1 training on the playground. This important activity allows the children to learn the right skills for cycling safely on the roads. This week they were on the playground practising skills such as signalling and stopping safely, as well as some basic bicycle checks. Over the next few weeks they will set out onto the roads of Exton and eventually go into Oakham to practise cycling round roundabouts and in more busy traffic.
