Today's Walkwise session was an expedition into Oakham! To really test the children's road safety skills, it is important that they get the opportunity to practise crossing some busier roads than we find in Exton village. A trip into Oakham also allowed them to practise crossing roads with green man crossings and with islands partway across. 

Thank you to Tish Barnwell for organising the transport into Oakham and for leading the children around Oakham, Miss Bevins and Mrs Wardle for supervising from school and to the parents and grandparents who were able to come and assist.
