Singing for Royalty!
HRH Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall visited Rutland today. Rutland Music, the Music Hub for Rutland, were asked to convene a choir of primary school children to sing some of the songs that were sung at the World War 1 Commemoration Event at Kendrew Barracks in June. Mrs Davis was lucky enough to be one of the supervising staff, and three children from Exton and Greetham CE Primary School joined 25 others in creating a choir for the occasion.
The children were a credit to themselves, their parents and the school, singing lustily and tunefully. Some of the choir even got the chance to talk to the Duchess of Cornwall, who was very friendly and asked lots of questions.
Well done to Elijah, Jacob and Katie for some excellent singing by Royal Appointment!
