Cobalt and Navy Classes went to join with other Rutland primary schools in the Rutland Music Hub Summer Sing on Friday morning. 

 

The children were glad to be in the coolness of Oakham School Chapel on such a hot day! The children sang a variety of songs under the tutelage of Mr Davis, whose enthusiasm for singing inspired many of the children. 

 

There were some new songs for us - 'one in a million' and 'Sumer is a-cumin in' - as well as some old favourites that we already sing at school. The children enjoyed teaching the children from other schools their actions for 'Build it'!

 

Mrs Roberts and Mrs Larratt said the children were a credit to the school, and sang beautifully, enjoying the opportunity to sing with more children.
