On Friday we joined with five other schools in Oakham School Chapel for the annual Rutland Music Hub Summer Sing. We had been learning the songs here at school, and were looking forward to sharing singing with children from other schools. 

 

What a phenomenal sound we all made together! Ably led by Beth, from NMPAT, the partner organisation for the Rutland Music Hub, we were soon singing in two and three parts and raising our voices in joyful song. 

 

We finished with a final recording of all the songs, including Mrs Davis singing a little solo in the pieces we sang from 'The Pied Piper' - the piece Mr Davis wrote for the Rutland Music Hub just before COVID.

 

We had a fantastic morning, and the children sang brilliantly!
