RLT Talented Artists Day
On Thursday 23rd June, six of our talented artists from year 4/5/6 joined with other children from schools in the Rutland Learning Trust to work on a large-scale piece of art work with an artist.
The morning started with the opportunity to experiment with different techniques, before bringing these all together to create a joint freeze to depict the Great Fire of London.
In the afternoon, each school group worked on a canvas to bring back to school to share with the school community, again focussed on the Great Fire of London.
This was great opportunity for the children to work collaboratively with an artist, and with children from across the trust, and to explore different art techniques.
