September brings the RLT annual Spelling Bee. For this, each year group has a set of spellings to learn, which are then tested in school to find a 'school champion' for each year group. 

 

It was a close-fought battle in school! All of the children did amazingly well, but eventually Charlotte, Poppy, Zain, Evie, Seth and Luke were selected to represent their year groups in the RLT semi-final, which took place on-line.

 

All of the children were fantastic - and most rounds went to 'sudden death' where there was suddenly a need to write quickly, as well as spell well! Although no-one from our school made it through to the final, it was very close - and we can't be disappointed to lose out for writing neatly!
