RLT Languages Day
On Tuesday 4th February, three of our year 6 children were invited to take part in the RLT Languages day alongside other gifted and talented linguists from across the trust.
The children met at St Nicholas school, where they started by using their French as part of some ice-breaking activities to find out more about each other. They then spent some time exploring the Greek alphabet and trying to work out some common words in Greek. After a short break, there was an opportunity to explore some Latin words and play some Latin games, as well as learn a Zulu song.
In the afternoon there was more exploration of the Greek alphabet and time to take part in some more crafty activities.
A huge thank you to Mrs Honorez for organising the day. What a great opportunity!
