What a fantastic group of cross country runners we had at the RLT Cross Country competition on Thursday! Mrs Ranson reports that we had an excellent cross country team. They all kept going and ran the whole distance, some looked like they could even have kept on going for longer! Others said they felt really happy finishing - both because it was finished and because they were proud of themselves. We are all very was proud of them too. They were all enthusiastic supporters and shouted encouragement to each other. Charlotte even stopped to cheer-up a little girl from another school near her who she noticed was crying on the last lap (Mrs Ranson could see she stopped and wondered why she was chatting to someone when she had been running so steadily). She still managed to come in 7th and smiley! What great sportsmanship!
