On Friday our brains were working hard as we were visited by the Puzzle Company who came to help us explore using maths practically.

 

The children had to work together in groups to solve different puzzles and challenges, all of which made use of our maths skills. We soon worked out that working together was much the best way to complete each challenge quickly! We certainly had the opportunity to practise our independent skills, ability to compromise, and develop resilience when we couldn't solve the problem first time.

 

A great time was had by all!
