Mrs Doubtfire trip
Thursday was a long day for Cobalt Class!
We had been invited by our friends at Ketton to join them on a trip to London to see 'Mrs Doubtfire' in a West End theatre - too good an opportunity to miss!
We set off from school at around half nine to journey to London. For some children it was equally exciting to be on a coach and see how big London is, as it was to go to the theatre!
The performance itself was amazing, and it was lovely to be able to see inside a historic West End theatre and see how a big production is put together. There were lots of brilliant songs and dances, and we really enjoyed the impressions by the man playing Mrs Doubtfire!
There were lots of 'favourite parts', including: 'the dancing', 'the bit with the hoover', 'the dancing cooks' and 'the I'm so confused song'.
Not only did we have a great time, but audience members in front of us caught Mrs Wingrove as they left to tell her what delightful children we have at our school!
Thank you to Ketton for inviting us!
