KS2 Church Visit
Key Stage 2 walked up to St Peter and St Paul church in Exton on Monday to look at the building and meet with Marcus, the vicar, as part of their RE topic looking at places of worship.
Marcus spent some time with the children making sure that they knew all the different places in the church and their significance, before showing the children what happens in a Baptism Service.
There were some very perceptive questions for Marcus, before the children spent time looking more closely at the features of the building. They were then able to spend some time choosing something that interested them that they were then able to sketch. There were some beautifully detailed drawings which will be on display in the classroom in the near future.
Thank you to Marcus for finding the time to spend with us, and to Mrs Lowe for organising the visit.
