Well done to all those who made it to Fort Henry and back!

After a cloudy start to the day, the sun decided to shine on us and we were able to set off on our picnic. It was lovely to walk through the barley fields and admire the wildlife around us before stopping for a picnic near Fort Henry.

After eating our picnics we all had enough energy for the walk back. we enjoyed the wildlife again. Mrs Owen laid an arrow and smiley face trail with some children to encourage the stragglers. With a song (or two!) as we arrived back at school, we were all ready for a well deserved rest.
