The annual Fort Henry Walk seemed to come around quickly this year! Fortunately the weather cooled a little, to make for very pleasant walking weather as we walked together from school to Fort Henry for our picnic. 

 

It is one of my favourite points of the year, when we can enjoy the beautiful countryside in which we live, and walk together with friends and families.

 

This year we made it in record time, and beat the picnics! After a rest eating lunch, and some time playing in the field, we took a more leisurely pace back to school. 

 

It was lovely to be able to chat with each other as we walked and to see the children across the school mixing together. A good time was had by all!
