Easter Celebrations

What a fantastic end to term 4!

Our day of Easter Celebrations began with a very moving service at Greetham Church. Children from Class 3 took us through the Easter story and the whole school interspersed the tale with songs. Cathy then talked to us about what really symbolises Easter. It was lovely to share in hot cross buns and drinks after the service, before setting off back to school.

At school there was just time to decorate our hard boiled eggs before we ate our delicious Easter lunch, cooked beautifully by Lizzy.

The afternoon was an afternoon of egg-citing fun! We began with our traditional Exton Egg Rolling competition in the hall - always noisy, but great fun! It was then time to go outside for our Easter egg hunt. Thank you to FOEGS and the teaching assistants for setting this up. Finally we had our egg and spoon races on the playground before it was time to go home.

Thank you to all the parents who came to the service and who came to watch our egg-straordinary activities in the afternoon.

Happy Easter everyone!
