On Tuesday we were visited in school by Leicestershire County Cricket Club. We started the day with an assembly all about playing cricket and some of the physical and life skills it can develop. There was even a physical challenge for some of the staff - well done to the winners, Mrs Gould and Mrs Ranson!

Each class then enjoyed a cricket workshop on the playground, developing their skills, including throwing, catching, batting and fielding, as well as concentrating on working as a team.
