The children had a lovely day on Friday raising money for Children in Need. A huge thank you to our School Council for organising our fundraising efforts, for icing cakes for our cake stall and for sorting our craft competition.

 

The children all came in home clothes, bringing a donation for Children in Need. The. School Council sold delicious cakes for 50p at break time which were enjoyed by all!

 

Over the past week or so the children had also been busy creating entries for our Children in Need Craft competition. Entries included artwork, cakes and biscuits and even a few puppets! Congratulations to our class winners who each took home a Pudsey bear, kindly donated by Derek, one of our governors. 

 

In total we raised over £300, which is a fantastic achievement for a such a small school! This money will all go to help the charities and organisations supported by Children in Need.
