On 10th June we were very pleased to welcome Ollie from the Music Hub to the school to teach everyone about African drumming. He led a series of workshops over the day for each class, and was very impressed with the children's sense of rhythm and pattern. Well done everyone!

We finished the day with a performance from Cobalt class to the rest of the school to demonstrate all we had learnt about ostinati, call and response, syncopation, rhythm and pattern.
