RLT Cross Country
It was good running weather for the Rutland Learning Trust Cross Country on Friday - not too hot, and not too cold!
We took a happy band of Year 3 children to go and take part in the Year 3 boys and girls races. They all did really well, remembering not to set off too quickly, and to pace themselves around the course. Everyone made it to the finish line, and it was lovely to hear of some of our children slowing to encourage each other to get to the finish. Well done year 3!
Cherry represented our older year groups, running in the Year 6 girls race. Again, a good steady start meant that she was able to move gradually through the field, finishing a very respectable 12th.
Well done to all who took part, and to those parents who helped with transporting children and marshalling at the event.
