It is always a delight to welcome members of the community into the school. Today we were visited by Clare and Peter Hitchcox, who brought some of their recorders to share with us. The children listened beautifully and enjoyed listening to the sounds the different recorders made, as well as how the music written for recorder has changed over the centuries. We only have 4 notes at present in our recorder playing - but maybe one day one of us will be in our local primary school demonstrating our skill!
