What a fantastic 'Easter Day' we had!

 

'Easter in a Day' is a great Exton & Greetham tradition, and this year was as successful as previous years, despite the variable weather!

 

We started the day with a visit to Greetham Church, where Cobalt class led us through the Easter story, interspersed with lusty singing from the whole school. A huge thank you to the church for providing delicious treats and drinks afterwards!

 

We then returned to school to decorate our eggs, before settling down for Easter lunch.

 

In the afternoon, we had our traditional egg rolling in the hall. Well done to everyone for remembering to hard boil their eggs. There were some closely fought contests in each year group, and some very agile children moving out of the way of the unpredictable rolling eggs!

 

It was then time to hunt for creme eggs in the classrooms, before the sun came out to enable us to partake in egg and spoon races before hometime.

 

An 'eggciting' day for all!
