Classes 2 and 3 took part in Samba workshops investigating the traditional music of Brazil on Wednesday. Led by the Rutland Music Hub, the children had the opportunity to work together using Samba instruments to become a Samba band.

 

The children had the opportunity to play all of the different instruments, then work together to create a samba piece with different rhythms and cross-rhythms. It was very noisy in the hall!
