We were very excited to hear at the end of term that we had been successful in a bid for money to replace the school roof. 

 

Scaffolding will be going up during the Easter holidays, and work will begin at the beginning of term 5 - hopefully completed by mid June. Although this means that the outdoor play area for Aqua class will have to be rearranged a little, this is only for the short term. Hopefully this work will ensure that the school is watertight for a few more years, and that funds that have had to be diverted to repairs can be spent on teaching and learning. 

 

We look forward to welcoming the roofers on-site and hope that the disruption to the school and the local community will be as small as possible.
